First edition. Rare. (NUC lists no earlier edition than one of 1857 in a single location at Yale). Dupanloup, the Roman Catholic bishop of Orleans, wrote several works on education. His book,'L'enfant', was translated into English and published in Boston in 1875. It was well reviewed for its "point of view different from that generally taken to-day". Price - £150 |
